Yesteryear Collection

Miami is one of the world's great resort cities. Having experienced several booms, Miami seems always to have attracted the rich and famous. And, when wealth and celebrity move into a town, they're soon followed by grifters, scam artists and hustlers. In the '60s, problems facing the Miami police escalated. Racial tensions made the city a powder keg waiting to explode. A policeman cruising the streets was always on the lookout for any signs of confrontation. And the Miami police faced a wide variety of crimes - from gang violence and muggings to a rampant drug trade. But, through it all, the Miami police did their duty, often behind the wheel of a 1966 Ford Fairlane. Available as a six- or eight-cylinder model, the Fairlane was aggressive in appearance, and it was popular among police departments all across America.

Now, a classic 1966 Ford Fairlane is captured in an exciting die-cast replica distinguished by the official graphics of the Miami Police. This model is produced by - and available only from - Matchbox Collectibles.
